On March 27, Governor of Sindh Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori visited Chinese Consulate General in Karachi to convey condolences for the victims in the terrorist attack on the Dasu Hydropower Project.

Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives and said that China and Pakistan are brothers, and the Pakistani from all walks of life are saddened by the deaths. Any attempt to undermine China and Pakistan friendship will never succeed. Sindh government will strengthen all measures to never allow the tragedy to be repeated.

CG Yang said that terrorism is the common enemy of humanity and terrorists must pay the price for their criminal acts. China is willing to work with Pakistan to improve early warning of terrorism, strengthen security measures, ensure the safety of Chinese personnel, institutions and projects, and create a sound environment for exchanges and cooperation between China and Pakistan in various fields.

CG Yang and Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori jointly met the journalists after the meeting. Both emphasized that China and Pakistan will jointly deal with the threat of terrorism and enhance the iron-clad friendship between the two countries.
