Chinese Consulate General in Karachi hosted the Spring Festival reception for the economic and trade community and award ceremony for Contribution to China-Pakistan Economic and Trade Cooperation on February 2, 2024. Consul General H.E.Yang Yundong, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan Dr. Inayat Hussain and other officials, representatives of The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry and other associations, and well-known entrepreneurs attended the event.

CG Yang introduced the current situation and prospects of China's economic development, stressing that China takes high-quality development as the top task of building a modern socialist country in all respects and will continue to provide powerful driving force for the development of the world economy. CG Yang and Deputy Governor Dr. Inayat Hussain jointly awarded shields to the China-Pakistan Economic and Trade Promotion Organizations.

The atmosphere at the event was warm. Participants expressed that China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation has great potential and believed that greater achievements will be made in the new year.
