Consul General Mr. Ma Yaou sent Letters of Sympathy to Governor and Chief Minister Balochistan

On September 26, 2013, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Karachi Mr. Ma Yaou sent letters of Sympathy to Governor Balochistan Mr. Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch respectively with regard to the heavy casualties and property loss caused by the tragic earthquake that hit Balochistan on September 24. Consul General Ma briefed that Chinese President Mr. Xi Jinping and Premier Mr. Li Keqiang have sent messages of sympathy to Pakistani leaders respectively and Chinese government decided to provide to the Pakistani Government emergency assistance of 1.5 million US Dollars and goods with the value of 30 million Chinese Yuan for the earthquake rescue and relief work. Consul General Ma stated that at this moment Chinese people feel as much pain as Pakistani people do, and we firmly believe that under the strong leadership of Pakistani government, the people of Pakistan will certainly overcome all difficulties and rebuild their homes soon.
